Perfect Props

When I was a child I liked making things. I was always cutting out, or colouring in. As a Prop-maker, I get to do it for a living. Of course, It's a little more challenging, but just as much fun.

In 2005 I completed a three year BA Hons course in Prop-making at Central School of Speech and Drama. Since then, I have worked both as a freelancer and as a full time employee in the industry - covering West End Musicals, Operas, national and international exhibitions, themed events, T.V. and breaking World Records.

The work on these pages is a mixture of projects undertaken by working direct for client such as ENO, Talkback TV, Dexion, Tourism Queensland, or through companies including Hothouse, Dress Circle Design and Russell Beck Studio.

Prop-making calls for a careful balance between problem-solving, and practical skills. No two projects in the industry are ever alike, and each one presents unique challenges, both familiar and entirely unknown. It is this variety and necessity for new ways of thinking that I thrive on. Let me put my practical creativity to work for you!
