This exhibition stand for the Wat Tyler Visitor Centre demonstrates how tidal and wind turbines work. The disc above the tank shows how the moon's rotation around Earth creates gravitational pull and tides. The tank shows how these tides work tidal turbines. On the coastline stands a wind turbine and a small building that demonstrate how wind can generate electricity for homes and other buildings.
The moon needed to be a geographically correct representation, with the same view that we usually see in reality.
